On April 28th, the first pass rate of radiographic testing for the welding of the safety shell steel lining cylinder in the reactor building of Unit 7 of Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant was 100%. This is another successful application of China's independently developed laser intelligent tracking MAG welding technology in the Hualong 1 nuclear power project. As of now, this technology has achieved stable welding of over 3000 meters in domestic nuclear power construction, marking the successful localization and industrialization of another key core construction technology in China's nuclear power industry, providing strong support for the high-quality development of China's nuclear industry and the "going global" of nuclear power.
In response to the structural characteristics and construction requirements of the steel lining of the nuclear power plant safety shell, CNNC Huaxing and Tsinghua University jointly formed a technology team to independently develop a laser intelligent tracking control system, MAG welding walking robot, and single-sided welding double-sided forming process database, breaking through the technical difficulties of multi-layer and multi-channel intelligent tracking welding, with completely independent intellectual property rights, achieving international innovation.
Compared with traditional construction techniques, this process will effectively improve the automation operation mode and digital management level, change the original manual and high-intensity labor state of the process, and increase the comprehensive efficiency by three times. It is of great significance for improving the intelligent construction level of nuclear power in China, completely changing the traditional construction mode, leading the trend of intelligent construction of nuclear power, and opening a new chapter of "smart construction" of nuclear power.
Since the 13th Five Year Plan, China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) has adhered to independent innovation, actively carried out the independent development of automatic welding equipment for nuclear power plants, and independently developed welding equipment and specialized welding equipment for nuclear power products that rely on foreign imports. It has successfully developed narrow gap TIG welding robots and laser intelligent tracking MAG More than 10 series of welding and testing equipment, including intelligent welding equipment, steel lining automatic welding equipment, and intelligent low radiation detection equipment, represented by automatic welding technology, have been developed independently. The supporting software system has basically covered all component categories of nuclear power equipment installation, forming a complete set of automatic welding technology for nuclear island equipment installation in nuclear power plants. Some technologies have filled the gap of efficient and intelligent welding in the domestic nuclear power industry, reaching the domestic first and international advanced level, marking that China has the ability to independently develop high-precision and cutting-edge nuclear power welding equipment.
